I've noticed a trend in the artist comments and I'm already seeing the first signs of drama/problems. Therefore we are REMOVING THE RIGHT TO TRADE.

Before I foresee problems with people taking care of their trades on there own we're not going to have it.
Instead, anyone who is unhappy with their character, NOTE THE GROUP with another number. you get ONE trade, and that's it. if you do not like your second character that's too bad, no trade. If you end up not liking your character after that then please be mature enough to tell us you're out of the event so that we don't end up wasting a character. Thank you.

Hello my lovely Fairies! How is it going? I hope your holidays are fun and you are spending quality time with the ones you love!

Now, to keep you artsy and busy, we are up to a new contest!

The prompt is: "How did you spend your christmas break?" and since our OC contest "Miss Winter Fairy" is officially running, this is going to be Canon-characters only.

January the 1st to February the 28th.



Now about the contest.

There is a list of Fairy Tail characters, encrypted with numbers. If you decide to sign-up (which we so hope you do), you just comment here: "I am in!" and pick a number.

Your comment should look like: "I am in! 4". This system is based on the fact that we don't want you all to pick popular characters like Natsu or Lucy, it's high time we see some original fanart of less known characters from our talented Guild members!

The sign-up procedures start today, 27th of December that is. They are "first come, first served" basis, and that means the first that gets a number, keeps the number. The number-character combination will be announced in January the 1st via a new journal entry. The unrequested numbers will remain encrypted until somebody claims them.


It is a both fanart and fanfiction contest (EITHER / OR ) , and the only limits/rules are:

1. The character you pick MUST be the center of your piece (it can contain more characters but it must be obvious who is your pick).

2. It must be related to the prompt "How did you spend your Christmas / Winter break?" In a first person perspective (for fanfiction). That means, maybe a comic of your character describing some Christmas experience, a scene of his/her holidays, a page of their diary etc.

3. Must be new work submitted from the 1st of January and later on.

4. Only original art, no colored manga pages or screenshots. You can only use those are a REFERENCE, but ADD your own elements too. This is a MUST.

The voting will be via polls after the 1st of March.
The prizes are yet to be announced.
