Yay this review was a bit quicker coming out then last weeks eh?

CHAPTER 452 -  Prelude to the Final Showdown

Ok so in this chapter we started off back in the Alverez Empire. Brandish was getting Marin Hollow to paint her nails the only problem was ...



...he was a little bit on the small side...

He obviously wanted to be his original size again and so asked Brandish about it when another Spriggan 12 member joined the party, Brandish referred to her has Mari. She wanted to know if Brandish had let Fairy Tail get away to which Brandish replied she had not let the go she would have found it a hassle so had left them alone. Mari then said that Brandish should turn Marin back to his original size because it creeped her out. Mari had come there to say that there would be a meeting with the rest of the Spriggan 12.

We then also learnt that Brandish did not really like her because she wasn't cute or a 'pass' as Marin would say...

So then we zoomed back to Fairy Tail HQ after Natsu had just revealed that had some sort of secret weapon in his right arm. Lucy and Erza both wanted to know what it was but Natsu wasn't giving anything away...



which did not impress some of the guys ...



Mest you're still a nut job I see? hehe

Wendy stated that if Natsu was keeping it a secret then it must have been a 'super special one of a kind trump card' and Happy knew what that was...

Oh Carla I love your wit!

So Natsu explained that he could only use the technique once (must be something powerful then! )

The Thunder God Tribe thought that if Natsu had confidence then they should have faith in him and that he was quite impressive to be able to raise the morale of everyone in minuets, which Laxus also agreed with! ...



Mavis then said she had quite a few countermeasures of her own but that she would believe in Natsu too (as they all did). Lucy then went to ask the Master a question...

aha too many Masters ...

She wanted to know more about the enemies that they were about to face... (good ol' Lucy we want to know too! ) So I'll sum it up for you too!

Emperor Spriggan = Zeref
12 members make up the Spriggan elite, select squadron.
Makarov only came into contact with 6 member in the 1 year as the western continent is so large they don't often all meet in once place.

So we then zoomed back to Alverez and 7 Spriggan members had made it to the meeting, which was a good turnout according to Zeref. We are then introduced to other Spriggan members...

He kinda reminds me of Uryuu from Bleach

Makarov explained that he was Zeref's chief of staff and consul and as his title suggested his magical ability was related to ice in someway which obviously pipped the interest of our own Ice Demon/Devil Slayer, Gray.

Then we saw Ajeel/Azir the Desert King again. Makarov explained that his he was supposed to be quite the warmongering type (someone who urges or attempts to stir up war ... I never knew ) Natsu remembered him ...

Meanwhile Zeref explained that the time had come to begin the Ishgar invasion. We then saw Brandish μ again. Her title was the Nationbreaker. She complained that all this was annoying. Zeref said to her that he thought she'd listen to his orders. Brandish said that what she felt and did were two different things. It might have be annoying but she'd follow orders. (Well she was showing loyalty I suppose ... aha )

Makarov additionally explained that whilst she wasn't the most aggressive type she could still bring an entire nation to its knees which Erza knew of too well.

Then back in Alverez again we were introduce to the Spriggan member who Brandish had called Mari, her actual name was...



There seemed to be some friendly female banter going on between those two!

Anyway Makarov said that he didn't know what kind of magic she had but that she was a female knight who's title boasted of her as a Goddess who had conquered many battlefields. So Erza was interested ...

And then we had this flamboyant crazy ...




I'm sorry but BWAHAHAHA! My face equaled Brandish's!!!

(Not sure how that Yuiry is Serena  theory is working out for people though? )

Makarov said that he was sort of disappointing as a Man (ahaha that's not what he wanted to say is it? ) but that more than any others he knew exactly how strong he was and what he was capable of. Levy and Juvia wondered what could've happened to make him desert and join the other side but Evergreen just said that they'd have to ask him when they saw him and Elfman was just as manly as ever about it ... one word 'Traitor'.

We then saw this guy back in the Alverez Empire ...



Makarov was worried about him because ...



Scary stuff ... and that was the reaction the others had too ...

Makarov then explained that those were the 6 he had meet face to face and that there were 3 more that he knew the names of.

Blood Man
Nine Heart

and

Wahru



To Wahru's statement Zeref confirmed that Fairy Heart was not a person but that their objective wasn't just the Fairy Tail Heart but the ...



Oh Zeref ... there you go again with your I'm so evil FEEEEAAAAR ME shtick...

But the Spriggans (I'm calling them that ) were all up for it ...especially Ajeel/Azir but Zeref said that he couldn't just leave it up to him alone BECAUSE...

And back at Fairy Taik HQ Mavis said that they must formulate a plan and so that everyone should listen closely BECAUSE...



But Ajeel/Azir (heck I don't know which name is right?!?) explained that if Serena was supposed to have been Ishgar's strongest mage then he could easily beat them to which Zeref replied that an all out offensive, with all their enemies, all together would have more meaning.

Everyone on both sides became revved up with Mavis and Zeref having the final word ...



or so we thought at the time but it actually was ...

So I'm done for this week ... WOW! That chapter review seemed to go on forever ...maybe it was because a lot of information was told to us that chapter but heyho ...

So after this I'm going to catch some ZZZzzzs because it's late and this review has wiped me out! aha me in about 10 mins--->
