we have currently 3 full teams and after some merging 4 maybe 5 with scratched ears however with only 3 members and with two writers in it. I would like to have 5 or 6 teams at least.
So basically we need more drawers! SO PLEASE SIGN UP! DO NOT BE AFRAID Of course if you are writer please sign up!

i have noticed that some of you can't decide to which team you should sign up. Do not worry if you are indecisive we can choose it for you. Just let us know if you are drawer, writer or both. Do not write that you are artist because that is meaningless (writers and drawers are all artists so that is why...).

For those of you who are new to the group or are here very shortly, or simply didn't get to participate on the pasts years, here's a brief summary of what this event - The Fairy Fest - is about!
Basically, it's an event inspired by the Grand Magic Games from the Fairy Tail manga/anime!
It usually lasts several weeks and each week has a theme and different events. All the participants form teams in order to participate in those events and win points each week.
In the end, the team with the most points, wins!
There are different kind of events, that go from doing a drawing fitting to the week's theme, to writing a fic, doing a collab, participating in scavenger hunt, solving riddles, and much more!
So now that you have an idea, let's get started!
Time schedule
So let's say that deadline for signing up will be till March 22.
Till March 25 will be option to choose Team Names.
Week 1: March 26 - April 1
Week 2: April 2 - April 8
Week 3: April 9 - April 15
Week 4: April 16 - April 22
Week 5-6: April 23 - May 1
May 6: Winners announcement!

Again: We will use the same system as past few years - so here is info:
READ CAREFULLY
You will sign up following the instructions bellow and using the chart bellow, but we will choose the team's names in a different journal.
What I mean is that here you will only sign up, and after all the spots are taken, then we will make a journal to let you guys choose your team's name and post the participants.
And so: To choose your team (or slot) pick the LETTER and NUMBER of the square you'd like to fill.
EXAMPLE :The first square would be "A-1"... that is a LEADER square. Leaders can be EITHER drawers OR writers.
The one next to it is A-2 and A-3, which are drawer's/visual's/cosplayer's squares.
The pink ones are WRITERS squares.
Remember that if you choose to be a leader, that means you're willing to take responsibilities and communicate and help organizing the other team members, so please don't pick it on a whim.
If you sign up you MUST commit yourself to this... remember your other teammates will depend on you.

As it were said earlier we will announce and explain properly each event on its corresponding week.
However there is a system that will repeat itself every week.
Every week there will be two kind of events:
ONE TEAM EVENT:All the member of the teams must participate in this event. It's a longer event, and all members of the team must collaborate. the team will choose one member to participate.
ONE SOLO EVENT:The team will choose one member to participate. Normally the activity is either making a drawing or writing a fic (following the given theme). There can be one on one "battles", or global polls to judge all the entries.
ROUND ROBIN EVENT: We added this event last year and i think that it was fun so why not continue this year. It is bonus round can be drawing or writing event as previous ones. As i said it is bonus round so it is completely up to your team if you fulfill it and get extra points or not. Round Robin changes SOLO event to second TEAM event.
NO STRESS PLEASE, this is only for you to have a general idea, each week we will explain the corresponding events.

Please also remember that we are mostly from different time-zones so of course we will try to answer your question and fulfill your demands HOWEVER please be patient. We are only humans and we need to sleep sometimes

Hi if you still need drawers Id love to participate! Ive been in FF few times some years ago, however maybe three years ago (im not sure how long its been really) i promised some prizes for the winners but didnt deliver all of them, and i still feel super guilty about it and havent had the heart to sign up for FF since so if this is a problem im okay with that. Id love to sign up though and am committed to the fest, but you know honesty is the best policy
